Duart CastleChildren’s Interactive Castle Tour

Date: Sunday 13th September
Time: 11am to 12.30pm
Tickets: £6 per child (includes admission to the castle)

Hear scandalous & romantic tales about the Clan Maclean at this fun guided tour. Using children’s castle props, go back hundreds of years and learn how life once was at the castle. But watch out for prisoners in the dungeons! For children aged five to 13.

The Duart Castle Evening Ceilidh

Date: Friday 18th September
Time: 7pm to 11.30pm
Tickets: £10

Come along to Duart Castle and jig up and down the old castle’s byre to the celtic sounds of Calum Maclean and his ceilidh band. Have a little taste of Scotland with whisky & stovies. Bar will be run by the local Craignure Inn. Not one to miss!

  • Duart Castle is on the Isle of Mull on the west coast of Scotland, just 10 minutes away from the CalMac Ferry Terminal at Craignure. The Duart coach meets the ferry arrivals daily.
  • Duart Castle & tearoom open 1st April, Sun-Thurs, & Easter weekend 11am to 4pm. Open daily (including the shop) from 1st May, 10.30am to 5.30pm. Shop & tearoom close 11th October. Castle closes 18th October.
  • 2009 castle entry ticket prices are Adults £5.30, Children £2.65, Concessions £4.80, Family Ticket £13.25 (2 Adults, 2 Children).
